The work shows 4 school-tables. Each table measures 70 X 50 x 60 cm. On top of

each table glass-plates were placed. On the glass plates portraits of children where being shown. Under the tables were small monitors. On the monitors you could see

a pencil writing, in a child’s handwriting, the course of these children’s lives. The

texts were written in different foreign languages each in the language of their own nationality. You could hear the writing of the pencil and the sound of cradle-songs. The 4 cradle–songs sounded distorted because they where not played synchronically. If you would read the writing you could get an impression of who these children were, where they lived and what decisions they made in their lives. The children were four historical people: Hitler, Himmler, Truman and Kennedy
